Parents/carers are welcome to enrol/transfer their child at any time during the school year using the Education Directorate's online application form. The Education Directorate's Enrolment Policy (pdf, 284KB) provides an outline of the enrolment process in the ACT.

Enrolments for 2017 open at 8am on 26 April 2016 and close at midnight on 27 May 2016. Applications will then be processed by schools and offers sent to families on 24 June 2016. Turner School will hold information and open sessions (pdf, 573kb) during May for parents and carers of prospective students.

In keeping with the Directorate Enrolment Policy, Turner School accepts mainstream student enrolments in the following priority order:

  1. Students who live in Turner School's Priority Enrolment Area (PEA) and/or ACT resident siblings of students concurrently enrolled at the school
  2. ACT resident students outside of Turner PEA
  3. NSW resident students including siblings of students concurrently enrolled at the school
